Behind the Canvas

My Story

At the heart of my art is a simple, steady desire: to create pockets of light in a world that can feel overwhelming. Painting is where I reconnect with joy and intuition, and that soft inner voice that gets drowned out in everyday life — my way of slowing down, breathing deeper, and letting colour say the things words can’t.

My life has carried me across continents, full of colour and the kind of beautiful chaos that comes with raising a family. And along the way it was the darker seasons that taught me something important: I know what it feels like to crave lightness, and I’ve learned to create the softness I needed.

And what I want my art to offer others is exactly what it gives me — a gentle landing, a spark of wonder, and a reminder that beauty is still everywhere. If my colours can make someone pause, smile, or simply exhale for a moment, it’s a chance to reconnect — and to believe in that lightness again. That’s why I paint.

I paint the feeling of coming home to yourself.

My Art

My work is soft, playful, and full of joy. I paint with gentle brushstrokes and rounded, organic shapes — flowers that bloom, bubbles that float, forms that flow as if they have a rhythm of their own. Blues and turquoises appear in almost everything I create, paired with bright, cheerful colours and touches of gold that catch the light just right (and maybe your eye too).

I work in a semi-abstract style that sits somewhere between feeling and form. My paintings aren’t about realism — they’re about creating a dreamy, captivating world you can step into when life feels overwhelming. Even the titles — like "Dare to Be Different" or "Whispers of a Dream" — are invitations into the mood I’m creating.

Every piece is a mood-lifter — designed to make you smile, feel lighter, and spot the bursts of joy and beauty around you.

At the end of the day, my art is about creating a joyful, calming corner in your home — a place where colour meets emotion, nothing has to make perfect sense, and you can breathe, dream, and truly come home to yourself.
